Replaced SSD and installing new OS problems

I just replaced the hard drive in my acer aspire e5-571 with an SSD. I was planning to install an OS from a USB. However, when I turn the computer on, I just get a picture of a hard drive saying "no bootable device". It also will not let me go to any bios or boot menu. What can be done?

Check if USB media is UEFI compatible, check if pressing F2 you can access BIOS or pressing F12 gives you boot options to boot from USB media.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
