I tried to find a kind of ombudsman or customer service but just could not.
I live in Brazil and bought an Aspire S7 when traveling to US.
Here I have a problem in my equipment and then delivered it in an authorized service.
This "accredited by Acer" company gave me a very expensive quotation then I refused but they charged me for a freight, I payed to avoid more discussions. Then I took my machine to a reliable technician. So I found out that several fixing locks were broken, the DC jack cable was missing and most unbelievable... they stolen my SDD (with all my photos and data)!!! I hope Acer company could help me in this criminal case. You takes your equipment in an authorized service thinking it is the safest way but in case of Acer it is not true. I think Acer have good products, but considering that any equipment is susceptible to malfunction, the best brand is the one that have honest after-sales, sadly Acer does not seem to think so.
