My laptop has the 20GB SSD and when I bougt it it was up and running after 20 sec. But now it takes several minutes to start it, if it starts... Seems lik it's slow when powering of by windows.
Have tried to restore the pc but that did not do the trick.
Should it boot from the SSD "drive"? Seems like it boots from the HDD, and I can not find any options to change this...

    rayabel,

It sounds like there might be some corrupt files slowing it down. You already attempted a system restore to when it was working like normal, I assume (from your post).

    • You can use the system file checker to see if it finds any problems that might need fixing.
    • You can attempt a start up repair to see if that helps.
    • Worst case scenario, recover your system to factory defaults after backing your information up.

I have tried all options you suggest. But it seems like there is a problem with the SSD. For some reason it shows as "not connected" in device manager. I have tried updating every relevant driver without any luck. Anyway I have shipped the pc to the Acer dealer, so they can figure it out. Thanks anyway.
