Hello, the video card in my laptop is shot so of course, I need to replace the motherboard. My question is whether any version of the motherboard (48.4TU05.04M) will fit. I ask this because my laptop was originally the i3-2365M/GT620M set up, but I've seen a possible Core i7-3537U/GT710M from a V5-571PG... will this fit?

    Hello,

If you don't use the pre-installed Windows version, it's possible.

Here are the original motherboards of Aspire V5-571G:

    I'd reinstall if necessary.

So I could even use the V5-571PG's i7 motherboard? That would be ace.

    Hello,

About the pre-installed Windows version, I think you misunderstood. If you want to use this version, you have to buy the new motherboard from your Acer store. The license of Windows 8 is linked with the motherboard (S/N).

I would do a clean install of Windows. Besides, for now the only OS on my laptop is Linux.

So even the aforementioned 571PG motherboard is compatible with my 571G? ????

The part numbers are different so they are probably not compatible (I'm not 100% sure).

As I don't know the exact dimensions of both PCBs, hmmm... sorry.

Even though both parts have 48.4TU05.04M on them?

    Hello,

    Husk MB (Wistron Husk Motherboard)

    11309-4M

    48.4TU05.04M

It's the part number of the PCB. That means they are built on the same PCB.
