I have located the SATA port on the motherboard. I have also located a second HDD power port on the motherboard. I want to add an HDD but I'm not sure if I will be ovetaxing the 300 watt power supply.

    Hello,

You can calculate the total power with this tool.

    Utupelo,

A HDD doesn't take much power.  I linked a common hard drive below, and as you can see, it only uses about 7 watts.

    I have a 300 hundred watt power supply and have 1 HDD, 1 SSD, 2 1TB USB HDDs.....it's not a problem.

Generally, you don't have to worry too much when adding common things like a HDD.  Only when you add a PCIe x16 graphics card is when you really need to pay close attention.

If an additional HDD was going to be a problem, they probably wouldn't have given you a SATA power connector and additional SATA port.
