The user ranking structure is a closely guarded secret. 

 

If you look at the statistics for our more senior members, you will see that active participation, helpfulness and posting quality content are some of the primary considerations for advancement.

 

Giving and receiving Kudos appropriately as a thumbs-up for good post content is always helpful.

 

So, if you have the time to contribute on a regular basis and can offer helpful suggestions and observations, you should see yourself progressing up the ladder.
