VN7 791G will not turn on

HELP.....

At the end of my tether..

About 4 weeks ago my VN7 791G Aspire V 17 Nitro was on.... I went out for half an hour and I came back and it ws off... Not lights nothing!! Anyway off to shop where I bought and off it went for servicing!! After a few returns to shop I eventually got it back nearly 5 weeks later....

All was working well.... Great

2 days after returning home I was doing some updates and returned to computer to find it had switched itself off. I could not get it to restart.... after switching on and off a few times it did eventually restart...

2 further days on I was working on my laptop in chrome and the laptop just switched itself off....

I could not get it to resatart I would turn the laptop on the keyboard would light up for a few seconds then that light would go out but the blue (on) light would still be there and after the usual noises of the hard drives moving I would get nothing like it was asleep...

So Off I go back to shop....

Explained to tech the problems... He switched computer on and bing all worked fine !! in fact he switched it on and off 5 times to show all was fine... So I left feeling a fool...

Now I live 25 miles so I thought I would pull over in the car to try and start computer !! And I get nothing apart from original syptoms.... So back to shop.... ANd the Tech mans switches the laptop on and as you can guess the laptop fires up straight away with no problems and shuts down as well... So the Tech guys does this 10 times in front of and I even try it twice in case it is my finger the laptop is allergic to !! 

So the drive home feeling convinced all would be okay .... !!

I get home and try to start and all I get is  "the keyboard would light up for a few seconds then that light would go out but the blue (on) light would still be there and after the usual noises of the hard drives moving I would get nothing like it was asleep..." If I touch a key after the keyboard lights have gone out then he keyboard lights come back on for 30 secs and then go out...

Due to the mileage between me and the store I thought I would ask on here if anybody else has had this problem? And I also do not want to feel an ***** again....!!

    Sorry to hear that you are not having the best possible experience with your notebook.

     

    I am not able to pull anything up on the service side since I do not have access to the service centers worldwide. I know you said you took the system to the shop where you bought it, but where did the system get sent off for service? The service center I show in your area is below, I am wondering if it was sent there or to the repair center for the business:

    If the notebook has never been to our repair depot and it was only repaired by the store itself, I would recommend you contact the Acer support location I provided and see what your options are.
