c720p shuts off itself and does not power up again

Hi,

I have been using C720P over 20months. It has been great but recently, it is not starting up. When I try the Chromebook Recovery Utility, it seems to run through it but when it comes back up, it stays for a second and shuts itself off. As I try to push the power button it completely fails to respond. Any suggestions?

Is there a chance it's a battery problem? Try with and without the charger connected.

I tried it both ways. It happens even when charger is connected. Also, I can see the LED light blue for brief time, each time I press the power button but nothing happens on the screen.

I got the laptop fixed myself. Someone on Google+ community suggested that I take out the connectors to the battery, from the motherboard and reconnect. I opened the back cover of the laptop and did it. It worked. The laptop started working again.

I wish the Acer community was better than Google+ community.
