I have an Aspire XC100; 2Tb HDD, Win8 64bit, 4Gb RAM. I want to use VGA not DVI but Onboard graphics is greyed out, was wondering if that might fix it. Current version is P11.B0

    Hi jockster,

No, the P11.B3 does not address any issues with DVI and VGA. Most of it is high level updates to make sure things couldn't break and and updates to the UEFI Network Stack.

I don't know you're specific unit, but the DVI port is provided by a dedicated graphics card, and provides much better performance vs the onboard VGA which is only there because motherboards need to be able to have a video output. I would recommend if you're trying to use a monitor our output with only VGA is looking at a DVI to VGA converter. They're usually only a couple bucks (in the US, I'm not sure about Australia).

    Hope this helps,
