Pixel Problem

Hello,

I got this as a Christmas present and did register it online. I am worried about my laptop. The pixels on the upper right side of the monitor of the labtop is not accurate in color. The way it should be. Its not cracked or broken its just looks like the pixels in that area is not working properly. I wanted to see if that is something I can have under warranty. It was not intentional nor was it dropped. It was simply closed and today I opened the laptop and it has lines and a little black circle in this upper right hand corner. Nothing else is wrong with it. I will let you know though that when I was given the labtop as a gift and my family member bought for me was ther. When I opened it, Everything was there but part of the cord. The bottom portion of the cord was missing. The part where you plug it in. They said they would let the company know where he got it from that it wasnt there. But  they never did anything about it. I have been having to use the bottom piece of my old laptop HP to charge the laptop once it was dead.

Please assist. I have all the paperwork and or course the top part of the charger. I would like to continue to use your product and/or products in the future. For business and for personal use.

I did read that he warranty is a 1 year. Hopefully, this can be fixed and we can continue use ACER for our electronic products. As well as advertise them for you. I have worked in Sales most of my life.

Sincerely,

Ashley

    Hi Ashley,

If pixels are failing on their own, that's what our warranty is designed to cover. Unfortunately, I can't definiatively say "yes it's covered" because I haven't seen the device. If you'd like to post pictures, I can probably help a bit more, but ultimately, it might be better to contact our support team, they can help setup services and make sure you're aware of any potential stumbling blocks.
