Acer 720P DHCP Lookup Failed with D-Link WiFi

Purchased a 720P a couple of months and have been very pleased. But this problem just cropped up.

The Chromebook has had no problem connecting to WiFi at home. At work, there is a D-Link 615 Wifi router in the room right below me and another just across the parking lot in the main house of our offices. Both have WPA security. There's also an open (public) WiFi in the building next door.

Until yesterday, I had no problem connecting every morening to the D-Link below me. Now, ONLY on THIS router, I am getting the "Failed to connect to network xxxx DHCP lookup failed." My HTC Android phone is connected fine, my Nexus 7 tablet is connected just fine, but the 720P won't. I've tried rebooting the router, I've tried forgetting the network, rebooting the router, then connecting again. I'm presently sitting 3 feet away from the router, and it won't connect. I'm typing on a Win 7 laptop that is connected with no problem.

The 720P WILL connect to the other secure router and the public router with no problem. So obviously something has just cropped up between my Chromebook and this router. I could use some guidance on fixing it. I'm logged into the router Admin panel as well, but don't see anything I can specifically change to fix the problem (and I'm doing this on the sly, so I don't want to break anything).

Can anyone offer some guidance? I asked in a Chromebook group on Google+ but suggestions failed.

Thanks in advance. And I still love my Chromebook. Smiley Happy So mucb so that I keep tapping this Win 7 laptop's screen thinking I can scroll it!

    evildad,

It sounds like a router issue, my first suggestion would be to make sure it's using the most up to date firmware for compatibility. Your Chromebook could have updated and the changes could be conflicting.
