I wanted to know if this particular kind of memory stick will work with my Acer E3-112.

    Hello Andy,

Could you give me the first ten characters of the computer serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

Sorry for the model. The correct one is E3-112-C6ME.

The first ten serial numbers are: NXMRLAL004

    Thanks!

    Hello Andy,

    I've compared both following parts:

    1) KN.8GB07.013 - KINGSTON ACR16D3LS1KFG/8G - 8GB DDR3L 1600MHz SO-DIMM (original stick)

    2) KINGSTON KVR16LS11/8 - 8GB DDR3L 1600MHz, Non-ECC, CL11, 1.35V, Unbuffered, SODIMM (stated stick)

They have the same specifications. You'll be able to install it on your laptop.

I also have an Acer E3-112M. Thinking of upgrading the original 2GB ram in my laptop.

    1) The first 10 digits of my serial are NXMSRSM001. Would I be able to upgrade the ram to 8GB DDR3L 1600 so-dimm?

    2) Any idea if opneing the back case to upgrade the ram will void the warranty?

Anxiously awaiting for answers. Thanks in advance!
