Hi,

My acer aspire S7-392-9439 was working great up untill last week, when I started getting connectivity problems.

Every once in a while (4-5 times in an hour), I have no internet access for a couple of minutes. my chrome tells me:

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN / DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET / ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

The problem occurs in different WIFI networks, and everything is working great in my friends laptop, which is connected to the same networks as I am.

I've tried netsh winsock reset and restart. didn't help.

I would really appreciate your help,
Michael

from an elevated (run as administrator) command prompt:

    ipconfig /flushdns
    net stop dnscache
    net start dnscache

    netsh interface winsock reset

    then reboot

    Good morning friend .

To solve the problem you present must change the DNS configuration of your network adapter.

Enter your LAN adapter or wireless network as follows.

Open network and sharing center > Change adapter settings > (Click right in your network adapter) > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties > Use de following DNS server addresses.

    - Preferred DNS server: 208.67.222.222

    - Alternate DNS server: 208.67.220.220

Save changes and check your Internet connection.

    Regards! ^^ Smiley Very Happy

May I have some help here... I had been facing issues on my conections and decided to replaced the wireless card N7260 for a newer AC7265 however the bios doesn't allow me to turn on the new wireless card. Fn+Q doesn't work. I may need a bios without whitelist or smtg else.... It's a S7 392. Anyone?
