AS4935G-644G32Mn

Upgrading of CPU from Dual to Quad Cored CPU.

Factory complectation:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 (PGA478 (Socket P), 800MHz,1.000V-1.250V,Thermal 35W)

CHIPSET: Mobile Intel PM45 Express (667MHz / 800MHz / 1066MHz)

Upgrade to Intel Core 2 Quad Q9100 (PGA 478 (Socket P),1066MHz, 1.050V-1.175V, Thermal 45W)

By Intel's specification and comparison, Q9100 is fully compatible with the chipset (FSB,Vol.) and socket (wired correctly, both T6400 and Q9100 are on PGA478, but its not known, if this socket in this modified motherboard is wired ONLY for DUAL or also for QUAD cored CPU's too, that's mean e.g. crystalls socket for quad cores or something like that).

Also, i heard/saw (acer 7730g) that while upgrading CPU from dual to quad (same cpu,Intel Core 2 Quad Q9100) on laptop:

1)booting up from 15 to 20 times powering on

2) when it powering and booting, in OS showing just only 2 cores instead of 4 (same thread, if the socket made for ONLY dual or also for quad cored cpu's)

But,in this experience with acer 7730g, actually Smiley Very Happy, the socket on it motherboard was PPGA478, but cpu (Q9100) designed for PGA478 - so )) But why i'm telling it, because from this experience i think, we can say that this upgraded cpu can work, and i think if the socket on the mother board would be the same (not PPGA478, but PGA478) it would be work as expectable.

So, in my case with my 4935G, all the hardware parametrs and features saying that Q9100 CPU is fully supported, but also saying "but not tested" Smiley Happy So, dear Community, is there somebody tested it or can test it ( if somebody can test,we can talk about it private - you understand yea what about talking am iSmiley Happy ).

Or is there any 100% answer is this upgrade available, compatible or not. Thanks in advance.
