Hi,

I would like to ask some help. I have an Acer AO722 and recently has BSOD's randomly. From bluescreenview, it says that the problem is caused by hal.dll. Is there any way to repair the BSOD's?

Thank you!

You could try reloading the OS to see if it is hardware or software causing the bluescreens. If your bluescreens go away, the issue was likely software or OS corruption. If they continue after reload, you may have a hardware problem that needs repair. You can use the steps on http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12869 to restore your OS.

    Hello Acer-Blayn,

I already did the instructions 1 day ago. I did a factory reset on my system. So far no BSOD until now. Then I checked bluescreenview. It said that the BSOD was caused by ntoskrnl.exe. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thank you!

What were you doing when it blue screened? Did you download anything or load any software on the system after you reloaded it that could be causing the bluescreens? If not, you may want to try some diagnostic utilities to test the HDD and memory.
