Aspire V3- 772G - Running out of space since the C: drive is only 100 GB - D: drive is 1TB

I own an Acer Aspire V3- 772G Running Windows 8,1, with 8 GB Memory.

My C: Drive is from the factory only 100 GB, but the computer also comes with a D:drive that is 1TB.

I quickly ran out of Space on My C: drive (this is the default drive for installing programs) and have a continued problem here with no space left.

All data is stored on the 1 TB D: drive

Can I combine C & D, or what to do???

you can try to install software to D: instead of C:, you can do it when installing software changing C: to D:

you can try to merge the 2 partitions, you need first to set as unallocated the D: partition the try to merge it, if windows disk management is not able to do it, you can use some free third party tools:

    I'm not an Acer employee.
