After-sales service will change my Liquid E2 ?

Hi everyone !

 

I sent my Liquid E2 yesterday to the Acer Center in Netherlands.

I didn't use it since a lot of months and decided to give it to my mother because her phone is broken.

By the way when I turned it on, nothing happened. When I connected the equipment to power and switch it on there was just a blue LED and nothing else.

 

So I called the Acer Center and sent my phone to the support, with the warranty.

 

But, the Liquid E2 is a old phone, made in October 2013 and actually we are in April 2015. Acer will change my motherboard or will give me another phone, a newer model ?

Because when my computer (also an Acer) was also broken and the model was too old (it was in 2014 and my model was a 2013), they just gave me a newer model.

 

And if they will give me a newer model, wich one will it be ? I guess the Liquid E3 maybe ?

    Palkonoel,

     

    If you sent the phone in for service they will perform a repair on it. The only reason I can think of where they would replace it would be if they couldn't repair it, but that's a case by case thing that they would contact your about to go over the options.
