I am getting internittent black screens on new B286HK.

I have 3 brand new B286HK monitors with 2 brand new EVGA GeForce GTX 960 vide cards in SLI format. I read about the crappy displayport cables and bought new ones to use for all three monitors. Resolution on all 3 monitors is 3840 x 2160 but no overclocking or 3D gaming. In fact, I have not taxed the monitors or video cards since setup.

Only on one, the primary monitor, do I experience intermittent screen blackouts. Nothing is affected. The screen blacks out for about one second or two and then comes right back to where it was. It seems to happen the more I am working on the primary monitor but will happen even if I have not done anything on the primary monitor.

This only happens on the primary monitor which is one of the two in the SLI confirguration. However, it also happened when the monitors were not setup in SLI configuration.

I am running Windows 7 x64 and also bought a new 750w power supply. Motherboard is the Sabertooth Z77. I had a Dell U310 before this with no issues.

One thing I noticed is when I download and try to install the driver from the ACER website, Windows does not let me do it. It comes back saying Windows already has the best driver installed.

Does any one have any ideas? Thanks Bob

    Hey communitynoob,

I'm not sure I'm fully following. Are you saying that any of the 3 monitors setup as the primary have this issue, but don't when not set as primary or hooked up by themselves?

I'm not entirely sure, but I have a similiar setup I recently built with SLI 970s and I have been using the B286HK along with another 1440p monitor and I have not experienced this issue. Also, I've heard complaints about the display port cable, but I didn't have an issue, and we've validated that they are 1.2a cable designed to support 4k @ 60hz.

This was initial setup last week, I hadn't even had a chance to repositions speakers/mic/etc...
