Fun with a switch 12

Is really being underrated even with its flaws: Here it is driving three 1920x1080 monitors while filling an 86 MB/s pipe. Can replace my desktops.

    I agree.

I'm surprised at the lack of appreciation given the innovation and price.

Notebookcheck ran a good review, otherwise, it seems like it's not gone down well.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but has anyone opened the case to see which components are upgradeable (like the wireless network adapter)?

If you have opened the case, please post or send me tips on how to do so, thanks.

Well suspect Acer needs to hire a good advertising team, if you look at the store it is hard to find and not described very well particularly just how advanced a system it is. Looking at the specs most people would think a Switch 11 to be a better value for the same price.

True there are some design faults (had to buy a Mac case for it to protect the screen) but I have communicated those to Acer and am just amazed at what it can do. In the dual display docking station (picture was also using the HDMI output) it is really indistinquishable from my desktop and both are running 64 bit Windows.

Haven't planned to take it apart since would void the warrenty (and like all of my devices is personal property and not a test unit).

Have noticed that there is now competion in the Core-M market from the other A with a bit more conventional design.
