I just got this Acer A3-A20 tablet today.  I went to settings & put in my network SSID & password.

I get the wi-fi showing  "  saved, secured with WPA/WPA2.  And a Lock on the wifi icon on the right.

then my network says:   "  authentication problem "

i restart the tablet....and get the saved, secured message again.  I assume that means i am connected, right?

but when i hit "home" & click on chrome button...i get online....when i enter a search term...it says:  "you are offline".

The 'saved, secured' message only tells you it has saved the password and the connectin is a secured connection. It doesn't tell you that the password was correct. Smiley Sad You should have it forget the network and try again, the password was probably mistyped.

once i took out my network password and entered  the SECURITY KEY on the bottom of my Comcast modem/router,

i got the message :   you are connected !     What a hassle !
