Acer Z130 : Encryption error, phone won't boot

Hello,

I am having problem with my Acer Z130, that I bought about one year and a half ago. Before you ask, I did not "root" it, I did not "flash" it or modify it in any way other than through the phone's settings.
Here's a detailed description of my problem :

I was browsing a web page when the screen froze. After a couple of minutes, I saw that it still wasn't responding, so I removed the battery and tried booting it up again.

I got an error message saying "Encryption Unsuccessful", and some text saying my data had been lost and that I needed to do a factory reset, the only option being a "Reset phone" button. After pressing the button, the phone restarted to the "Dead Android" picture, what I assume is the boot menu, with options to update, restore data, and Factory Reset. I pressed the Factory Reset button, the phone completed the operation after a few seconds and I was brought back to the boot menu.

I restarted, and the exact same "Encryption Unsuccessful" screen came up. I tried everything : Going back to the boot menu and resetting, restarting the phone without resetting, removing the battery, etc... It still booted back to that same "Encryption Unsuccsessful" screen.
I decided I would remove the battery and try again after a few hours.

A couple of hours afterwards, I put the battery back in and try booting it. Instead of showing the acer boot animation, like it had for the precedent errors, I instantly got a black screen with "Tool DL image fail" on the bottom, with no additional info. The phone also wouldn't shut down, so I pulled the battery again.

Now, the phone completely refuses to boot. The little red light that shows the phone is charging also doesn't light up anymore.

What am supposed to do from here ? I have done some searching and found nothing.
I assume I will have to reset the OS from my computer, but I do not know how to do this. What I also would like to know is what kind of personal data will be lost : I think my SD card should be fine, but what about browser bookmarks (that I think are stored on internal memory) ? I am backing everything up from both memories just in case. (EDIT : Actually, I can't backup the internal memory. The phone doesn't appear in My Computer, and in the "Peripherals" tab two devices, MT65xx Preloader and Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface show up intermittently, both with driver errors I cannot seem to fix.)

Thanks in adavance,

    good report!

i think you got a corrupted memory and this raised your encryption issue, if you are still under warranty i would contact the Acer support service.

about your data loss, it depends if you synced your contacts, bookmarks and so on with your google account, so they will be available on the next google sync even on a new phone.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have checked my status and my phone isn't under warranty anymore. If some of the data has been synced then that's reassuring. Honestly the data loss isn't too big of a problem, the main thing is that I cannot buy a new phone right now, so I want to see if there's any way to restore it.
