A1-810 freezing

Hi. I have Acer Iconia A1-810 tab with KitKat 4.4.2 and few days ago it started to freeze a lot. When I'm browsing, using some app after some time, but not every time it happens like that, tablet just freezes and I have to hold power key and volume up/use reset hole to be able to turn it on again. But mostly after I reset it, when lock screen comes up I'm able to slide upper bar down and choose what I want like Wi-Fi, Settings etc.(sometimes it freezes even here), but when I want to slide to unlock it, it freezes. So I have to reset tab like 3-5 times to make it finally work. Same happens after tab goes to sleep, but not everytime, it just freezes during sleep. All latest updates installed. The only thing I didn't do yet is factory reset. I want to do everything before FR, that can help or get no results. I'm a bit scared it would freeze during factory reset. I have this tablet for little bit over 1 year. Freezing started this Monday as I somehow remember, but I don't know what I did that could cause it. Any ideas?

There's no much to do prior to factory reset.

i would try to do the factory reset and check if this can solve your issues, if not (and you are under warranty) i would contact the Acer support service.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

All your apps are updated so that means they are bigger in size than they were when you first installed them plus if you have KitKat installed I'm pretty sure that takes more internal storage and ram space so of course your device is going to run slower than before to be honest you were better off with stock jellybean to begin with here's what I'd do: Go to XDA forums, Find Iconia A1-810 hacking thread, find stock ROM/update.zip so you can reflash your device back to stock ROM and just leave it at jellybean.

If you can't find stock ROM or don't wanna do this then I don't have nothing to else to say I mean this tablet is almost 3 years old now so hardware has changes since then hopefully you find some other way to fix the freezing/lag but if not I'd suggest you get the A1-830 or the Tab 8.

    Hope I answered your question.
