CRLUTLINTL100.DLL

I have installed a program, but when I execute the program I get the following message - The program can't start because CRLUTLINTL100.dll is missing from your computer. The odd thing is that I am able to install and execute the program from another lapto (different make and model) with the same OS, however I am unable to do so from both of my Acer laptops (which are identical). Oh yea, and for grins and giggles, that program is not on the laptop where it is actually working. Go figure. Short from doing a factory reset (which creates another problem), I am at my wits end. Any help would be appreciated.

Copy the DLL file from a computer it's working on and paste it into the program file.

What is the program name and version.

Also, can you also confirm the dll name - I can't find any reference to it?

Thanks for the reply.  You know, I thought that was kind of weird as well.  But I do have a screen shot showing that particular file name.

In response to the other replier (thanks also), but that file is not on the computer where the program is working.

Back to Alan.  The program is not something that most people would be using, so I don't think that you would be familiar with it.

As always, thanks for any assistance.

It's always helpful to mention the program that's causing the problem.

I suspect you are attempting to install Paradox (from WordPerfect Office Pro).
If that's correct, you are right - I am not familiar with this. I think this is pretty well dead these days (MS Access saw to that). There doesn't appear to be any support from Corel either.

I believe there used to be one or two newsgroups but I'm unsure if they are still about. You could try a newsgroup search and see what turns up.

As this DLL is unheard of, there is always the possibility that it is a transient virus (only exists as a temporary file during installation of a program (and a virus!)) which, on this occasion, has been spotted and removed thus causing the error. That is purely a guess on my part. If you have AV running, check if it has been quarantined. If so, you should find details as to why.
