Acer have a big problem with the E5-571 Laptop! Many customers are reporting that the mouse fails to restart when Windows comes out of hibernation. The issue seems to be related to the I2C HID driver starting up before the Acer (Eln) Touchpad driver. The I2C HID driver (intel) starts up and says Acer touch pad where are you. But because the touchpad driver hasnt started yet it gets no response and assumes it is dud. Then the Acer driver starts but its too late. This is proven by disabling and restarting I2C HID driver. It is also proven by others that have had the same issue a Lynux OS and have changed the order / timing the drivers start up in.

So my new idea, bash your heads together with Microsoft, Elan and Intel and release a fix, this just is not good enough!
