Acer Aspire V3-551 screen flickering

A couple of months ago, my screen started flickering fully on and off every couple of seconds(its not dimming, its like the LCD or the backlight fully turns off for a quarter of a second)(occasionally it goes away for spans of time but it always comes back). Talked to an acer support specialist a month ago while my warranty was still up and reinstalled my drivers. I'm guessing by chance it went away for a little while so I assumed it was fixed. but it came back about two weeks ago just after my warranty ran out.

Anybody know any solutions to this problem?

if you move the lcd screen or hold tight near the hinge, the screen stil flickers?

Yes it still flickers

i don't think a driver can fix this, it looks more like a bad cable connection.

I figured that would be the case but I thought I would check just in case someone knew something. Guess I'll have to take it to a computer shop since my warranty just ran out to get it fixed. I wish it had been consistent so I could have had it covered when I brought up the issue but I guess thats life.
