Yesterday before I went to eat lunch I turned on my laptpp and signed in. When I came back it had a blue screen with a kmode exception not handled error. After waiting an hour the getting data portion was stuck on 0 still so I forced turned it on. After that the moniter wouldn't turn on even though the laptop was on, I heard the turn on noise and could hear the fan running when I listened. I tried taking the battery out and holding the button for 30 seconds and putting it back in and after a few times it managed to turn on with the screen. But it froze at the start up logo and after another hour I turned it off and havnt been able to get the screen back on again. Is there anything else I could do?

    Tempus,

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems, let's see if we can get it workign for oyu.

Was the system installing updates when you powered it on, or performed them when you shut it down previously? You can try to get into Windows and perform a system restore to before then and see if that resolves it.

You can attempt a refresh to see if that fixes it.

If that fails, you can attempt a reset to see if that fixes it.
