How do you get to the menu on an S-201-HL monitor?

I'm giving my mother my old S-201-HL monitor. She complains that it's too bright and too contrasty.

So I'm trying to adjust it for her. And I guess no one else on the planet has any trouble finding the menu. But I can't find how to get to it. The only control I see for it is the power on/off button.

Thanks!

  • Hello,

You'll find all informations in the user manual of S201HL (see page 12):

So where is the 'function' button? As I said in my original post, the only control I see is the power on/off button.

    Hello,

You'll find the control buttons under the bezel and near the power button.

Look the pictures of this website.

OK I see the buttons. How do they work, I can't see any logic in what happens when I press a button. With all that I have pressed, a quick access screen comes up, but I can use the sliders to do anything either by touching the screen or using the keyboard cursor keys.

Are the buttons for specific things? If so whatr.

Confused, and getting a headache from a too-bright screen,  Shingay

It didn't seem intuitive to me either.

Each button underneath the bezel corresponds to an option on the screen. This requires exploration; the icons weren't terribly meaningful to me either. Select one (I think for brightness, you want the 'e' on the far left), then use the up and down arrows to navigate, and--this is the important bit--select 'enter' to choose a suboption. That should get you started; I'm sorry I don't remember more details than that.
