Liquid E600 - SD Card useless

I bought the E600, my first smartphone, 2 months ago after checking online if anyone had trouble with it, and nothing unexpected came up. So I got myself the E600. I was celebrating my first job so I was happy to spend money for something I had been looking forward to since ages.

Then, last week I bought an SD card thinking that I could moves some of my apps onto it to save internal storage space. But that option is unavailable. It's not even some greyed out option, it just doesn't appear anywhere, in any kind of menu. My card is correctly detected, but I can't find any use for it.

For two months I've been downloading and removing differents apps because the internal storage is not sufficient (all due to useless apps Acer forbids me to remove, although I have no use for them). I thought an SD card would solve my problems, but I just wasted 30€ for nothing. It's not like I'm going to take thousands of pictures with this phone, or use it to listen music (because every time I do, every track is cut by silent mooment, at random points). So I came to the conclusion that this phone is perfectly useless.

I can't download all the apps I need, I can't use it for music, the camera is really bad, and the SD Card I bought for it is useless.

Not one brand had my confidence like Acer did. My computer and my screen are Acer, and I wasn't disappointed after buying them. But this phone is useless *****, and this marks the last time I buy any of your products. I understand that google restricted a bit the use of external storage, but Acer also added their own restrictions, and they made the whole thing useless. Who would have any use for a device with 4GB of storage, knowing that 3GB of them are already taken by the builder's apps ?

Nonsense. I'm extremely disappointed.

Are you sure that E600 has only 4GB of internal storage?

Yes I am. It's written in the Storage options as well as on the Acer official page of this phone.

I'm sorry to hear about your issues, cg.  It sounds as if you should have that phone looked at by our Service folks, or at least have a conversation with them about it.  That audio problem is not acceptable, nor normal.  I'm not sure about the camera as you didn't provide much detail, but Service is certainly the place to start.

As for the SD card, the recent Android OS versions do more than 'a bit' of restricting on SD Card use for apps.  They pretty much shut it down.  This is done as a security measure so that hackers cannot access the files you store there.  There isn't anything that Acer can do about it, nor can any other Android device manufacturer.  The restriction applies to tablets as well as phones.
