Hard Drive Problem AO722

I'm having problems with my computer giving me a black screen and saying it can't find a hard drive. I have already sent it in and the hard drive was replaced and it's only 6 months old. The only difference is I can still turn it on and it will start back up, where before it was stuck on that screen. I am really disappointed because I have never had this many problems with a laptop. They want me to send it in for repair again. But I'm in college and can't go without it. What do I need to do to get it replaced or something. I lost everything I had on my computer the first time and don't want to risk losing everything again.

    General suggestion:

    Be sure that you have a current backup of any data prior to giving your system to anyone else.

    It is often suggested to have a backup of critical data in at least two places.

     

    I'm sorry that you are having difficulties with the AO722.  Specific error messages may help the community troubleshoot exactly what the problem may be, without resorting to another service trip.

     

    If the community is unable to provide additional information for you to resolve the issue, service should be able to locate the problem and fix it.
