Aspire E 14 E5-411-C9T0, touchpad problems even after series of troubleshoots

Hi! I just got this laptop for a month and the touchpad is making me frustrating. The cursor lags, the drag function sometimes not working, the primary and secondary buttons interchange (the settings are not changed), and the left or right-click does not work properly. I got help from the stores by downloading the drivers of the mouse to restoring the pc to its original settings. Currently, the bios is updated but it is still happening though the update made the touchpad to become more responsive than before. I am looking for help in this matter. Thank you.

    ELuna,

If you have updated the drivers and the touchpad is still not responding correctly, I would recommend that you contact Acer Technical Support in your area and see if they can get it working correctly for you. This system comes with a precision touchpad and there are not many settings to adjust.

Thanks for the advice. The store personnel also suggest the same solution but because I still need the laptop, I am still sticking to using an external mouse. He said it could take time.

    ELuna,

Understandable. If you are planning on having it repaired by Acer make sure you do so and contact them before the warranty expires, or purchase an extended plan (as applicable) to cover yourself.
