Need help!!! Within 3weeks of opening my Acer iconia 8in tablet my charging cord plug to tablet actually is loose in its connection! I previously sent a email to Acer and have heard nothing now for almost 4months! My question is this. Does anyone else have this issue? If so who did you contact cause I can't get a response? Also is there a way to get a replacement! I know its not just a localized problem because i bought 2 of these from QVC and my daughters was bought for her Christmas present. Hers is now showing signs of same problem. Loose, connecter that plugs into tablet. Tablet says "insuffecient current" and wont charge more than halfway when left on allnite! Thanks for any and all help in this matter!

First, this does not say which tab but what kind of charger are you using ? In general a 1A charger won't and you really need at least a 2A charger.

Second some have reported a USB socket (is that how you are charging ?) that comes loose from the MB. If that is the case, it needs to be returned to Acer under warrenty for a fix. That is a hardware problem.

Sorry to hear about your issue.  I'm not sure who you emailed about the issue, but in the US we really don't use email for support anymore, as it is just not the fastest way for us to respond to your needs.  You can connect with us via echat or you can phone.  Either of those will get you an immediate response for our support team.  All of the contact info should be included with your product.  And based on what you stated in your message, you should certainly still be under full warranty.

    Hi scottiebear69,

Can you provide us with a bit more information on your tablets? What model(s) do you have?

Also, as previously mentioned, Acer provides warranty support for Chat and Phone, unfortunately, email is not an option. If you'd like to send me a private message with the email address you originally contacted I can forward that to our service team for review to ensure that if it is Acer's email box, an appropriate message comes back providing instructions on how to get support.

The contact page for US support is here: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact
