Acer XB270HA (G-Sync) Clouding Pattern

Hi,

 

I recently purchased an Acer XB270HA G-sync monitor, and after a few days of use, it has developed a very distracting clouding pattern. It's like there is a box inside the display:

This box is visible when the screen is dark, in games like Alien Isolation or Skyrim. I've seen some other monitors having this exact same pattern (like the Asus Rog Swift), is there any way to fix it?

Honestly this is par for the course in regards to this monitor. I went through 2 of these monitors and both had an insane amount of clouding as well as backlight bleed. Horrible QC in my opinion.

 

To my knowledge, all you can do is RMA and hope you get one that is actually top notch, or you can try going through Acer to see if they would be able to repair these issues.

 

I on the other hand tried to RMA and ended up getting a refund.
