Is it possible to add exstra RAM to my Aspire laptop E1-570 ?

And if, should I just go to normal computershop and let them change the RAM ?

If you're running 64 bit, you can upgrade memory to 8GB. It's pretty easy on this model.Take out the 4GB and install an 8GB.

    Hello Thomas,

Could you give me the first ten characters of the serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

There are models with one or two memory slots.

    Hello Thomas,

Your laptop has two dimm slots and already 4Gb of memory. As Philetus said, you can upgrade up to 8 Gb.

I advise you to buy the same stick installed:

    KN.4GB07.015MEM 4GB DDR3L 1600 SODIMM (KINGSTON)
    KN.4GB07.008MEM 4GB DDR3L 1600 SODIMM (KINGSTON)
    KN.4GB07.007MEM 4GB DDR3L 1600 SODIMM (KINGSTON)
    KN.4GB0C.005MEM 4GB DDR3L 1600 SODIMM (ADATA)

You'll find a label sticked on your memory stick. Under the bar code (KN...), the first ten characters are the part number.

    Hello Thomas,

I advise you to buy the same memory stick which is installed in your laptop. You are 100% sure it will be compatible with this one.
