    Since the computer is not working without the battery inserted and connecting only Ac adapter, the issue is not with the battery.
    I see that you have already tested the AC adapter, this seems to be an issue with power port or internal hardware.

    Do you get any error message? Does the battery indicator glow?
    Are you able to remove the battery and use the computer with only the AC adapter plugged?
    You may power OFF the computer , remove and insert the battery once to check the issue.

    HI ruudroy thanks for the tip,but the battery indicater light glows.And with the battery removed the unit will not work.
