Good day everyone.

I have recently bought new computers for my office. Previous computers ran XP 32 bit. I have a aspire server H340 which has all of my office information and contracts, now I need to access them.

The new computers are running 64 bit Wdw's 7.  My delima is the computers (ACERS) and aspire (ACER) server will not communicate when in a retrival mode. I can back up what we are doing without any problems, but when I run the PC retrival, everything goes fine UNTIL it tries to connect. The blue circle just spins then message (cannot find server).

In talking to associates I am told there needs driver or drivers that are compatable to run 64 bit and 32 bit on these two new machines. I am not a computer genius, fearful to just put what ever on the hard drive and wind up with a real mess. Please if someone can help or knows the secret, would you please advise what to do and where to go for specefic information.

Thank you,

Don

According to Operating System supported are: Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP which can be 32bit or 64 bit. The operating system is backward compatible.

Acer Technician, how do I go about  rectifying the problem? I am not a computer professional but a structural engineer.

To rectify this problem load the client software to the windows 7 notebook or desktop and connect the unit to the network.
