Acer Iconia One Screen Problem

I just received an Acer notepad Iconia One 7 B1-730HD.  Part of the screen has gone black & there are grey transparent bars across the rest of the screen.  I downloaded an update to the Driver hoping this would take of it; but it did not.  Are there any suggestions on how to take care of this?

I'm afraid that sounds like a hardware issue. Best bet is to contact Acer support or the vendor you received it from.

I have exactly the same problem and its really annoying because I have lost my receipt so I can't get it replaced.

I had compared mine to the same display model and the model on display hasn't got the lines Smiley Sad.

Would anyone suggest a factory reset. Would that fix the screen problems? I dont want to factory reset it and then realise that it didnt work.
