I cant dial phone numbers on my new Acer iconia A1. whats the problem?

you can't dial phone number with Acer tablets as on smarthphone ....you can use Skype to make phone calls or Viber, so application that uses VoIP protocol (or sort of)

Updates for the A-811 come from the wireless vendor, not directly from Acer. That is because they have proprietary code for the data module. I believe the A1-811 only has wireless data, not phone audio.
