The backlit keyboard is a great idea but it is way, way too bright and too white. Dimmer available?

Not only is the bright backlight annoying, studies show that white lights interupt melatonin production which, in turn, causes cancer when white/blue light is viewed after sunset.  Is there any possibility that Acer will come out with a yellow hue (low Kelvin number) for their keyboards?

Check the research here: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/09/110912092554.htm

Given this, it is imperative that Acer respond by using low Kelvin LEDs and provide dimming solutions for those of us who have to have our computers on after dark.  The Twilight app works for the screen but I cannot find anything that will dim the keyboard.  I realize that there isn't much that can be done about the color of the already installed LEDs but would love to see Acer respond in the future with light colors that are safer to use at night.
