Hi,

I've been on holiday and I have seen that there is new version of Android available for Acer Iconia A1-810. After upgrading, my tablet does not run applications properly anymore. For example: I'm watching a video on YouTube and suddenly tablet repeats about a half second piece of video, it freezes, still playing that half second piece, and does not respond. I have reseted it and the problem occured again. I did ask on Acer Support, they told me: Reset your tablet completely. I did but it remains on version 4.4 where does the problems occure. I asked how can I downgrade it. "Reset your tablet, it should change into the 4.2". It didn't. Does anyone know how to get an official version of Android 4.2? Maybe sending me a link to download, just help please. I bought the tablet for work and need it.

it's impossible to revert back to 4.2 doing a factory reset of hardware reset from factory, since they are resets not re-install.

so it only clean the data on your installed OS.

there's no official way to revert back to 4.2 from 4.4 but you can do a quick google search to find a solution, that can be discussed here. Smiley Happy
