So I reinstalled the audio drivers, and everything sounds perfect & flawless again.

It'll be max 2, 3 weeks before the skipping starts over again, and than I'll just do a reinstall.

But what I really don't understand: why is everything working perfectly right after the reinstall, but after 2/3 weeks the skipping starts again?

In other words: it can't be a hardware problem right?

And what with Foobar? Hardware, Software ....perhaps your installation is too much. That's to say If you have very many CABLES connected, what for cables , from what device to what other device, this is not safe. Your audio latency thing has eventually something to do with your hardwares connections.I don't know for sure. For my part, it's a streaming audio and video interruption (very brief but recurrent) which I experience each day.No solution found as today.....If I have well understood your FIRST POST on this site, the latency occurs when you hear music(from a website or other?) and simultaneously you browse some application on your pc.Is it so? I experienced a little latency when I do this. Excuse me but I have some difficulties to go forward in this quest yet.Happy new year!
