Hello.
I have a problem with my laptop (Acer Aspire 5741G).
It´s a couple of years old and the battery stopped working a year back and after that I need to use the power cable.
Earlier the laptop got really hot sometimes and shut itself down.
I have cleaned it inside (I took the laptop apart) and also changed to a SSD drive.

After that it worked better for a while but now the same thing have happened again but there are some differences from earlier. IT´S WORSE.

1. The laptop doesn´t get hot. It´s almost cold..... I downloaded a program to see the status of the computer and from it I could read from the sensor data that the temperature is between 30-40degC (CPU usage is as low as 0-4% if I just leave it).

2. The fan starts directly when I start the computer and goes on 100% all the time (even if I don´t do anything).

3. After 3-4 minutes the laptop shut itself down. Even if I go into the BIOS at start-up and just leave it.

4. I have cleaned it again and everything but the same thing happens after I have mount it together again.

What´s wrong? Can it be the power cable (AC adapter)? But why does the fan behave like this?

Or something else?

Can be a problem to the thermal sensor or bad thermal paste on CPU, check also VGA temperature and ram sticks errors.
