Upgrade to 4.4.2 on Iconia A3 resulted drastical uptime decrease

When I had 4.2.2 on my Iconia A3 the system run about 140-180 hours before it required restart becaused the system started to behave silly. But after I upgraded ot 4.4.2 after as few as about 40-50 hours system uptime it starts to behave silly, most notably the wi-fi connection stops to work. Simulaneously no other device using the wi-fi connection has any connection issue. Additionally on the A3 it becomes impossible to turn wi-fi off in a repair attempt. In the left status bar slider the animated wi-fi waves icon just keeps animating the waves, like it does when establishing connection and in the Settings app. at Wi-Fi settings the I/0 switch becomes unavailable or dimmed.

I rather would like to get back to 4.2.2 to the latest update level available from Acer, or would be even more happy if Acer released a 4.4.3 or even more a 4.4.4 upgrade to Android.

Nevertheless I would warmly welcome any suggestion or idea on how I can eliminate this wi-fi issue or diagnose it and eventually improve the system uptime.

For others' possible benefit: it appears that the issues I faced and described in my previous post were NOT related to the OS upgrade but to some misbehaving app - possibly Humble Bundle app. Now Android 4.4.2 on my A3-A10 runs 2-300 hours without any issue. It's possible though that CleanMaster helped me to identify and have control over the uptime issue.

Regrettably I can't be completely sure of the correctness of my above conclusions though.
