H5360 projector remote-control problem

Hello!

I bought a used projector which has unworking remote-control. However it sends IR-pulses when looked through camera lens. So the fault seems to be in the projector receiver/control unit.

I measured the RS232 port after not being able to use it with Arduino and got these readings when measuring against VGA-earth:

-Left pin (TX): -8,80V

-Down pin (earth): 0V

-Right pin (RX): 0V

So my guess is conductor/component fault. Anyone have a good idea how to continue now on?

I have experience with electronics and i am considering to continue component by component beginning from IR-leds and RS232 port which most probably lead to the same circuit.

I am unable to provide any recommendations on how you can repair the issue you are reporting by yourself. If you feel there is a hardware problem with your projector, I recommend you contact warranty support in your region.
