Acer cornia w4 821 can'i find device location in maps

Hello im using acer cornia w4 821 windows 8.1. I installed map application & my device location is turn on also internet connected. But i can't find my location  in maps when i press my location icon. please help me to fix the problem.

    What are you using for a GPS? There isn't one built into the tablet... You need one that plugs in to the USB port.

    That's an 821. I suspect it has a built in 3G data capability and that spec requires a GPS.

    And what I forgot to mention is that the Windows 8/8.1 Broadcom driver produces a GNSS stream and not a NMEA stream through a virtual com port as expected by most Windows machines.

     

    I had to obtain a program called Localizer from Centrafuse to provide the NMEA steam for my Sat-Nav programs.

     

    Meanwhile Microsoft has a Sensor Diagnostic Tool that will let you see what you have. Click on the "Broadcom GNSS" probably near the bottom.
