Hello everyone!

A few days ago ive purchased Aspire E1-572. But im having problem waking my computer after being put to sleep.

Is there anyone who might have an idea how to solve this?

Ive instaled all needed drivers, except BIOS.

But as it crucial to instal this one correctly, can you please help me how to do it, cuz i assume that this might be the problem why I can't wake it up.

Thanks in advance

Go to http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers Find your laptop.

Download the bios. Unzip it to a (make a new folder) folder on your desktop.Make sure your power supply is plugged in.

Click the exe file and follow the directions. Do not try to stop it or shut down.It will reboot the computer

To resolve the issue with your Sleep mode, you can follow the steps below:
    1. Go to "Device Manager" by following the steps mentioned in the following link:
    For Windows 7:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/open-device-manager#1TC=windows-7
    For Windows 8.1:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows-8/where-is-device-manager
    2. Once you are into Device Manager, navigate to "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" from the list of options mentioned on the right side of the page.
    3. Expand the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" tree and go to "USB Root Hub".
    4. Right-click "USB Root Hub" and click "Properties".
    5. In the window that comes up, go to "Power Management" tab.
    6. Now, uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and check the option "Allow this device to wake the computer".
    7. Click "Ok". Now, see if your issue is resolved.

    1. Go to http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
    2. Type Aspire E1-572 in the box below "Search by Product Model" and click "Search".
    3. Click on your model number from the list that comes up.
    4. Once the details about your model are displayed, select your current operating system appropriately from the drop-down menu besides "Operating System".
    5. Now, click on BIOS tab and locate suitable BIOS file for your computer. Click "Download" and follow on-screen instructions to install the latest BIOS in your computer.

    Hope this will help you.
