I've gotten the impression that this model (E1-472P-6695 new in March 2014) requires removing the mother board and other internal parts before gaining access to the RAM. I'm happy to do this myself, if I could find a little guidance from someone that has accomplished this. However, maybe it's worth the $29.95 that Microcenter claims for RAM upgrade. Does anyone have experience with this?

  • Hi,
To Replace the RAM, you need not remove the MBD, just remove the Plastic cover at the bottom & you'll get access to the Memory module to replace,. Cheers.
