Iconia B1 711 problem

Im able to put sim card.. But the tab is not connecting to networks... The signal bar is empty.... And in settings, when im clicking the " Data Usage" option, the settings closes and tells, " Unfortunately Setting s has stopped"... What to do?? Please help me anyone.... I loves the tab very much....

    Android version-4.2.2
    Build number- Acer_AV052_B1-711_1.244.00_WW_GEN1

    Have you checked if any update is available for your tablet?

     

    use wifi to check it.

    Yes.. I got one update and it was of 132MB and i downloaded it... But it failed to install..

    Yeah, i rooted once and then unrooted.....

    probably the update failed when you was rooted, please do a factory reset (remember to backup your personal data)

    settings/backup&reset/factory data reset

     

    after the reset, connect the tablet using wifi and check for updates and install it.

    I tried to updata after factory reset, but its showing update error-" update service temporarily unavailable. Status code:400"

    yep, you can't use the manual check but you must wait for the automatic check to give you the update notification.

    that's normal, you must wait for the automatic check about updates or if you are under warranty, you can ask Acer if they can give you a rom update to do a manual installation.

    i can't give you a link, i'm not an Acer employee.

     

    you need patience and connect your device to a WiFi, so the system will check automatically for updates.
