3820T and the forum helped me get it back on line a couple of weeks ago.  I took 'til now to get all the pieces all together and working because of shipping timelines etc.  Ant way I blew the hard drive and replaced the stock WD Blue 340Gb HDD with a WD Blue 750Gb, and had to purchase from the Acer Store the recovery discs and then I had to get an external CD/DVD ROM unit because the laptop is 10" and I guess there isn't enough room for the DVD ROM to fit in it(?)  It's all together now and working just fine ....BUT.....I haven't a clue how to turn on the WIRELESS function!  I know it has one because it worked before the hard drive crashed.   does ANYONE have the answer, or..... does everyone but me have the answer.  I look forward to being shown how really unknowledgable I am.....and thanks in advance.  Jstplncrz  AKA Ken M.

Hi Philetus,  Thanks for the quick response.  I have tried both keys and they don't turn the light on.  I am sure that there is something in the setup somewhere that charges the F3 key.  Something has to have been messed up when the old hard drive went down(I guess alot of things could have been screwed up when the Hard drive went down) but I am not good at the internal workings of my machines, even though I built 2 by myself..... but if you have the right pieces it pretty much sets itself up (otherwise there's no way I cold have done it myself)  Can you think of anything else that may be causing this?  Ken M.
