Dear support,

Aspire T136-TB7Z operating system has updated from XP to Win7. Now there´s been emerged a problem with Windows Media Player. After I have put the DVD disc in the drive the following message appears:

"Window Media Player cannot repeat DVD disc because the analog copy protection cannot be enabled in the display. Please install updated driver to the graphics card".

VGA and PnP display drivers seems to work properly but theres´a problem in multiport communication port on a PCI bus (COM 22). Error message is "The device cannot be started (code 10)". Current hardware ID is PCI\VEN_127A&DEV_1005&SUBSYS_1005127A&REV_01.

Do I need Win7 compatible PCI serial port driver?

Best regards,

Tuomo

that hardwareID it's from the PCI modem, not related to WMP problem.

you need to update the VGA drivers to the latest available.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
