Aspire X3300 CPU upgrade to a SIX core CPU

Hello everyone,

 

i have an acer aspire x3300 that i would like to upgrade, i mainly need a better processor, the one that came with the computer is an AMD athlon II X2, i believe that socket is an AM2.

 

there was a BIOS update by acer to support six core processors, i have been looking for six core processors that would fit an AM2 socket, but suprisingly there is nothiing out there that runs under an AM2, why would acer offer a BIOS update to support a six core processor !!!

 

can anyone tell me what is the best processor for my computer? or if there is any six core processor that runs on an AM2 socket, please let me know.
